St. Marys is a Par 67 for men and 68 for women rural golf course in the Fingal Valley in Tasmania, Approx 130 km from Launceston and 240 km from Hobart. It is just under 5000 metres or about (5200 yards) in length and has a mixture of challenging and easy Par 3 and Par 4's as well as one Par 5. Rating one hole is the 15th which is 382 metres (414 yards) dogleg par four.. Several other par fours well in excess of 300 metres and the longest par 4 is the 10th at 394 metres or 427 yards.
The greens are a mixture of creeping red fescue and browntop bent and are mid speed. Two bunkers and several mounded banks and grass depression approaches otherwise. The green fees as of June 2021 are $10 Australian per day or $20 for a week's golf if stopping locally. Fairways are always good and some holes have strategically placed tree lines. Visitors are made very welcome.
